Taking
my walk down the road, past the rain forest and the neighbouring
farms, I picked up an old water bottle that was caked in mud,
squashed and filled with mud. I often pick up rubbish from the side
of the road as I walk, to clear and beautify the area where I live.
This
bottle got me thinking. We are all vessels, each of us on this
planet. How do we treat our vessel? Do we keep it clean so that it
sparkles? What do we fill our vessel with? Love, good food,
friendship, time in nature. happy thoughts and inspiration? Where do
we place our vessel? in the middle of a table to be admired, or are
we like the bottle I found, covered with dust at the side of the
road?
I
wondered about my life. Am I filling my life with love? How do I
treat myself both physically and emotionally. Am I kind to myself?
How do I care for myself? This experience had me think of myself in
a new light. Helped me see how I can live my life more lovingly and
nourish myself.
Each of
us is a beautiful vessel to be cared for and polished till we shine.
To be filled with love and good experiences, to choose positive
thoughts and emotions to fill ourselves up with, and to be kind and
care for ourselves. We can all be the beautiful vessel we are meant
to be.
Many Blessings
